Keep it Simple
I try to keep my illustrations simple, but I struggle with this. I often try to add too many details which usually ruins everything. I have the same problem with writing as well. Keep it simple, keep it simple, keep it simple. Does anyone else have this same problem? How do you keep it simple?
Speedway and 6th
Every time I pass Speedway and 6th I make a mental note that I need to stop at that corner shop sometime. I decided that today could be "sometime."
We bought a whole bunch of grapefruit, oranges, and some cactus candy.
I love the handwritten, stenciled and painted signs.
New mental note: Next time we will have to buy us some "delicious cold cherry cider".
