Here is my beautiful and talented sister-in-law, Melissa.  She was an accountant, but became so good at that, she decided to try something new - motherhood and knitting.

Rachel's Sister ACEO

She knew "Rachel's Sister" wasn't just what people called her, it was one of her personality traits as well.

This painting is available in my eBay store.

After painting "Rachel's Sister" I noticed that she was a little bit boring and realized she must just be in the shadow of a more popular sibling.  I then remembered a story from the Bible about a girl, Leah, that was completely in the shadow of her hotter more popular sister, Rachel.  I think a lot of us with siblings can relate to being (fill-in-the-blank)'s sister (or brother for that matter.)
