Kay's Dolls
My grandmother, Kay, was an expert seamstress. One time I gave her a long sleeved shirt that I wanted hemmed to make short sleeves. Not only did I get a nice short sleeved shirt back but also a cute little stuffed bunny, made from the extra fabric from the sleeves. I have a few of her quilt creations but I mostly cherish these darling little stitched dolls.
She is ninety three years old now and can't sew much anymore, but her style is amazing. She is an artist I admire!
