Isabel, Sylvia and Hazel are the three mermaid sisters.

Sketching on Watercolor Paper

This part of the process is very frustrating.  I find my face two inches from the paper, sketching, erasing, sketching, erasing.  I often have to walk away for a while, then come back to see what the sketches actually look like.

Cutting

Here is my least favorite part, CUTTING.  Cutting requires exact measuring, a perfectionist mind and probably better tools than I have.  But at least it is done...for now.
