Today was a great day off I think mostly for three reasons. One: we got so much school work done yesterday I didn't feel any guilt today. Two: all three kids had a blast playing with their friends and being away from mom for most of the day. Three: I bought a pair of purple shoes! (how can you NOT be happy with new purple shoes?)
It is a Monday morning and school is going well. Here is an announcement about Super Luke from Luke himself. Announcement!!! A new Super Luke book is going to come out called Space Wars 1. I will also write about when Xtreme Boy was born. For now, here is a book that I wrote called Super Luke: Worm.

My good friend Kollen who is always finding great fun FREE outings set this up! The kids got to color, learn a few pizza facts, make their own pizza and get a tour of the kitchen! It is so pathetic how excited I get over free food, but yay! The kids got drinks, pizza and brownies and the moms got drinks, three huge salads and three pizzas to share. I told the manager in charge how wonderful this all was and asked how often they do a little tour/field trip like this. She said that they are willing to do one a week but that usually it is only about once a month they have a group. Maybe Las Vegas doesn't have great historical or cultural field trip options, but we do have California Pizza Kitchen!!!
